COPENHAGEN, Denmark—At Chicago Midwinter, 3Shape launched a brand-new line of dental lab scanners, flexible LabCare subscription models and upgraded software to make CAD/CAM digital dentistry more affordable to dental laboratories.
3Shape introduced its brand new e-scanners for dental labs. The new scanners deliver advanced scanning features, and precision CAD/CAM workflows 3Shape is recognized for, but at a more affordable price.
Featuring two five-megapixel cameras, Blue LED and multi-line high-speed scanning for optimal detail capture and accuracy, 3Shape e-scanners enable labs to complete more cases in less time. They improve lab productivity with time- and cost-saving features like 3Shape’s impression scanning and auto-start. Impression scanning allows labs to scan traditional impressions directly without having to pour a model. While auto-start starts the scanning as soon as the model is placed inside the e-scanner.
From the D2000, to its new and more affordable e-scanners, 3Shape now provides labs with a wide selection of scanners to meet their needs and budget.

3Shape also introduced two service agreements that dental professionals can now choose between:
1. LabCare subscription package that gives professionals high-value services plus the option to protect their investment with a warranty and scanner replacement agreement.
2. New Basic package: A no-subscription program offering limited services free of charge. Only available for e-scanners.
