Engle recently introduced a new Rear Delivery System as a space-saving addition to the Engle Traverse Chair. The Rear Delivery is engineered for efficient and ergonomic two-or four-handed dentistry and complements the Traverse Chair.

Engle Introduced its Traverse Chair in 2010; however, the chair has recently gained widespread popularity as operatories become smaller and dentists look to do more with less space. The chair has recently been embraced by DSOs because it allows more operatories within each location. The traverse feature creates an additional 10 inches of space behind the patient, allowing dentists to position themselves behind the patient comfortably without sacrificing space—a particular benefit for rear delivery. Because the seat moves forward as the back of the chair reclines dentists can stay put and let the patient come to them.

Engineered for ergonomic efficiency, the Traverse Chair and Rear Delivery allow for unparalleled dental team access and comfort. With an anatomically correct back pivot point and synchronized back and toe board recline, the Traverse Chair has undergone extensive comfort testing to provide maximum comfort in procedures lasting 45 minutes or more. The delivery system features a compact and adjustable control head and a 22-inch adjustable-height workspace. Combined with the zero-clearance design of the all-hydraulic Traverse Chair, the pair provides for uncrowded rear operation, perfect for the 12 o'clock position. The Rear Delivery also comes with handpiece lockout on the conrol head as a standard feature.
