NuSmile Announces Inaugural Summit
NuSmile recently announced that it will hold its first NuSmile Summit Jan.?19–20 at the Grand Wyndham Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida.

The event’s format allows attendees to create their own schedule by choosing courses that best meet their needs. Attendees will receive up to 16 continuing education credits from courses offered by experts in all facets of pediatric dentistry. NuSmile founder and CEO Diane Johnson Krueger says the summit is designed to help pediatric dentists and general practitioners who treat pediatric patients keep up to date with the latest advances in pediatric dentistry.

One of the summit’s highlights is the Zirconia Reinvented hands-on workshop, in which Drs. David Salar and David Evans will provide comprehensive training in the art of placing zirconia crowns for primary teeth.

The summit also will offer practice management courses focusing on practice growth and employment and compensation issues. For more information, call 800-346-5133 or visit nusmile.com.

DentiMax Releases Software Upgrade
DentiMax has released version 18 of its flagship practice management software. Available in both cloud and server editions, DentiMax 18 is more graphic, powerful and easier to use than its predecessors.

The company says dental offices expressed interest in a graphic clinical charting screen, tighter digital X-ray integration, integrated patient texting, and paperless features such as online and in-office patient kiosks. After working closely with dental practices for more than four years, DentiMax has delivered these and other features as part of an integrated solution, and practices can bypass using third-party products, getting all the necessary functionality from one system.

ProSites Announces CareCredit Partnership
ProSites, a dental website design and online marketing provider, has partnered with CareCredit, a provider of promotional health care financing, to help doctors explore financing options with their patients.

According to the Patients’ Decision Path to Purchase Dental Services study, almost half of surveyed patients visit a practice’s website searching for information about the doctor, treatments, costs and payment options. By making it easy for patients to find information and apply for financing ahead of time, doctors can help mitigate the cost factor before it becomes a barrier to care.

Leaders at both companies say this partnership will allow dentists to share available financing options with their patients directly from their practice website. In addition, the partnership is expected to enhance a provider’s ability to communicate financing solutions with patients, helping increase reception to treatment recommendations.

Providers who utilize ProSites or accept CareCredit and would like to add financing information and an application link to their website can contact their ProSites representative at 888-932-3644.
