  • Apex Digital Sensor
With a true resolution of more than 20 line pairs per millimeter, Masterlink's Apex Dental Sensor, formerly the Ei Dental Sensor, provides image quality that is among the best in the industry. The sensor housing is hermetically sealed and watertight to allow for submersible disinfection, preventing cross-contamination and damage to the sensor's electronic components. The flexible cable provides for effortless positioning based upon any diagnostic need. Available in two sizes with tapered edges, rounded corners and a thickness of 5.3mm, the sensor ensures patients are comfortable during examinations.

Active acquisition technology means the sensor is always ready to capture images when needed, with no user intervention required to ready the sensor. The direct USB connection makes in-line boxes, buttons and controls obsolete. The process of obtaining high-quality images is as easy as positioning the sensor, taking the X-ray and reviewing the image.

  • V-Posil Impression System
Voco has introduced V-Posil, a precision VPS impression system with optimized timing for chair time, to its product line.

V-Posil is flavorless and offers up to two minutes of adjustable working time, giving the practitioner control over the pace of the procedure. The abbreviated two-minute thermoactivated set time improves patient comfort and limits procedural time.

The product's rapid snap-set benefits the practitioner and the patient by reducing the time spent in the critical zone by up to 50 percent and minimizing potential distortion due to human error, which results in fewer costly retakes.

With four different viscosities, two tray materials and two wash materials, V-Posil's indications include the full range of impression techniques, including reline and rebase impressions and impressions for removable dental prostheses.
