Synopsis:
Continued drops in dental insurance companies’ reimbursement fees and rule changes make the business of dentistry a constantly changing landscape. If deciding to drop insurance, helpful steps and verbal skills are given to use with patients.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
  • Be able to answer the 6 questions to uncover facts that determine your right way to go, in relation to dental insurance.
  • Understand how practices make smooth transitions and position themselves to succeed, either in network or out, as well as Insurance Free.
  • Have new verbal skills to talk with patients about their insurance-related concerns.
  • Be more knowledgeable and fluent in the language of dental insurance and its human, emotional side.
  • Understand the results and effects of going out of network and of staying in by analyzing 2 real case studies.

good intro to ffs consideration. great questions to think about and analyze if that is the right move. Also to realize when it may not be a good idea to switch to oon. I would love to have more verbal examples and explanation of how a office that decides to transition to ffs can convey to existing and new patients higher preceived value in staying with that office (ie how to change the patients perception your dentistry is not a commodity).
