This electronically delivered self-instructional program is designated for 2 hours of CE credit by Farran Media.

Synopsis:
The CEREC software has been updated and greatly changed for a better
user interface. This interface has made the flow for CEREC so much easier, however,
attributes, like the tools and parameters, have greatly changed. This course will walk
you through the CEREC 4.0 program and give you key features to know so that your
CEREC 4.0 experience will be successful.
Description of Speaker:
Dr. Todd Ehrlich graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and served as president of its Alumni Association. He is a certified CEREC Trainer through the International Society for Computerized Dentistry, Sirona Dental Systems, and Patterson Dental. His “Cerecology” training program is considered one of the premiere training seminars for the CEREC method. He is a beta tester for CEREC and Emax CAD. He has lectured internationally on dental CAD/CAM technologies, and has published articles relating to practice management, digital photography, and the CEREC method in numerous dental trade journals. His case presentations are well known for his attention to detail, esthetics, and photography. He serves as one of the few Administrators on Dental Town’s website forums.
Dr. Ehrlich runs a successful family and cosmetic practice outside of Austin, Texas with his wife, Kristine.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:
- See the new flow for the new CEREC 4.0 software and its differences from prior versions.
- Understand new options for imaging and design modes.
- Learn the different design tool options.
- Recognize the differences with Parameters in 4.0 versus prior versions of CEREC.

| I always thought that every significant upgrade should be explained in detail with a course like this one.
Short and to the point.
I much prefer these online presentations, done by trusted and competent CEREC users, rather then the day long PATTERSON courses that are often more of a sales pitch for other things unrelated to CEREC.
This presentation by TOD taught me A TON more then the 1day presentation I attended. And the major advantage is that I can go back to areas I didn'T understant very eazilly, whenever I feel the need.

| Very nice course. I would mention that some of the movements, that the doctor takes for granted, like enlarging images, etc, are not second nature for the viewers. I have not had any training of 4.0, so a little more emphasis on postioning images, enlarging images, etc., would be helpful.
However, I would rate this course as excellent overall and would definitely take another course from him.
