3. DENTSPLY SIRONA INC. in York, Pennsylvania paid $375 million in cash to acquire the Israel-based MIS Implants Technologies Limited that has annual sales of $80 million. This strengthens Dentsply-Sirona’s position in the lower-priced “value segment” of suppliers of the worldwide dental implant market. Privately owned MIS, established a worldwide distribution system that provides dentists in 65 countries with its products.
