Episode #16: Making the Transition From Dental Student to Dentist!
|
Welcome to episode #16 of the Life and Dentistry Podcast!
On today's episode, our group sat down for a very memorable moment. To paint the picture, we recorded this episode early in the morning, sitting at my kitchen table in the house that my wife and I had lived in for 3 years while I have been in dental school. There were boxes pilled everywhere. The guys came over to help me move that day, and we decided to record a life session before we started loading up. This was an emotional episode, as it was our last episode before we would all start going our separate ways. As we reminisced, we discussed what some of our fears and worries about going into private practice are, how to handle being an associate, what our expectations are for checking hygiene along with balancing speed, how to decide what CE to take, and what our strategies are going to be to handle these topics. This was a special episode for us to record, because this was the last time we would record at this table. I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as we did recording it!
