Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
  • Learn how to review the image data sets you take or receive.
  • Understand the importance of reviewing ALL of the slice data.
  • Visualize pathology in 2D and 3D.
Description of Speaker:
Dr. Dale Miles is an adjunct professor of oral and maxillofacial radiology at the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. He also held positions as chair of the department of oral health sciences at the University of Kentucky and graduate program director of diagnostic sciences at Indiana University. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and the American Board of Oral Medicine. Dr. Miles has been named one of the top 100 clinicians in CE for the last 12 years by Dentistry Today. He has authored over 140 scientifi c articles and 6 textbooks, including his second edition on cone beam imaging.
