CE Requirements by State

CE Requirements, by State

Disclaimer: Many states require continuing education credits in specific subjects, such as CPR, drug abuse, ethics, jurisprudence or infection control. Some states have provisions that allow only so many hours of CE in one particular subject. And some states have requirements about how many credits of continuing education must have been earned through "live" events, through recorded internet classes or written exams.

To check particulars in your state, search "[State] Dental Continuing Education Requirements" or "[State] Dental Hygiene Continuing Education Requirements."

This list was updated in September 2016. Click here to view.
